Downtime

As you might've noticed, Cubemania was down for about an hour. The reason is that we've moved Cubemania to a new server. Unfortunately the new server isn't as powerful as the old one (which became too expensive btw.). The downside is that we had to limit the averages showing up in the graph to 100. Don't be afraid, your averages aren't deleted and you'll be able to see all of them soon :). If you experience any problems, please let us know by opening a ticket.

    I have a suggestion. You should make an extra tab ( like one of those records, timer, competitions ect.) but make it Live Competition. You go there and select someone to challange that is currently wating. a timer will pop up counting down from 10. Then it will show your timer on the left and your opponents on the right. then you push space when you are done and you can see who is better. Also you should have a skewb on the timer.... Thanks!

    i think you should swap out squae 1 bld for square 1 OH. noone realy seemes to do it blindfolded and onehanded is much more fun.

    Can you please remove everyone in the PLL Time Attack category with a time of under 30 seconds? They're all clearly doing a different event, like one algorithm or something.

    Clock must be average of 5 new rules. Also you should have a reset, like if you don't want to have your average up there. And message-mail.

    Please delete these fake times... Hasan_khan - 3x3 1st place in records (under a second,impossale) and... Conman in 4x4, it says it only took him 2 seconds. ( can you say world record!) FAKE!

    you should delete a lot fot he pll time attacks, but mine were sub 30 because i was timing skewb... qqwerf is right, though, EVERYONE who did a sub 30 time attack HAD to be a cheater doing just one alg. Totally true.

    Genie, the best unofficial PLL attack I've ever heard of is 31.xx. I chose 30 seconds as a reasonable round number, I don't think ANY time under 30 should automatically be removed, but at the time every time under 30 was clearly fake. And seriously it doesn't matter what you were timing, if you're not doing all 21 PLLs in a row your time should be removed.

    i think you should make it soo we can delete times once they have been submitted, but only out own, cuz i keep accidently timing magic on a bunch of different cubes and i wish i could delete them. if you see this can some please delete just my fastest 3x3 time?

    I agree with vcube. It would be great if you could delete your own averages. One time I accidentaly put a 12 second OH solve :(

    there are so many puzzles. what do you think of my idea that every account has a section "other puzzle". you have to insert the name of the puzzle and then make the normal average

    and TD2013 that wouldnt work since there are guys who need 2 minutes and there are guys who need 12 seconds. it could get very boring. but with some modifications it would work: you first click on 1 of maybe 6 buttons like "sub15" "sub20" "sub30""sub45" "sub1" "not sub1".

    Thanks guys for all the input. It would be cool, if you use the ticketing system to tell us about the features you want to be implemented. So far i've changed clock and sq-1 to averages of 5 according to the new WCA regulations.

    Sorry, that i haven't posted here in a while, i'm currently very busy with exams :/. But i promise i'll work again on this site once i've finished my last exam.

    Daniel, you can put the average manually in 2x2 speed by copying the times. However, only tim can delete it. Thats why we need to be able to delete our own averages...

    So, yeah... We really need to be able to delete our own averages. I was doing what SRV told me to do and entering my 2x2x2 times in manually but I was so stupid and accidentally entered it in for 3x3x3 Speed. Could you please delete that as well? I am so sorry.

    It looks like all of the averages are gone. When I do new avgs they are automatically pbs. It shows two records on the record page for the same event for me. Something weird is going on here...

    "The averages are gone" problem: The averages aren't gone, just the record markings are screwed up. I'll go through the database in the next few days and fix that.

    You should be able to delete your old times considering the graphs gets closer and closer together. Also, if you get more than 1 average you should be able to get the average of a whole day and not every 5

    In behalf of all the users in Cubemania.org, we would like to suggest a "Delete Time/Average" option on the Timer. Because many of us are accidentally putting times in the wrong category. And also, this option will lessen your work in deleting our wrong times.

    can you delete my fastest 5x5 average? it was an average for 4x4, not 5x5, i must have clicked on the wrong one without noticing. eeskaatt's idea for a delete times option is a very good idea, then mistakes like mine could be avoided

    Hey, my computer froze when I was about to submit my 5x5 average, so when it rebooted I entered it into the 3x3 without realizing it. Could you possibly move it to 5x5? Thanks

    BTW, I think that you should make a feature that allows us to delete our own times because I've made this mistake before and I'm sure others have done it too. It would also take some of this annoying bugging from idiots like me off of your shoulders. :)

    tanya33 and lordskull14: Just click on the 3x3x3 link in your profile and delete the respective average yourself, thanks :).

    Daniel_Chan: I can't mark times as DNF after you've submitted them. But you can delete the average which includes the 2:56.66 yourself by clicking on the 3x3x3 (Blindfolded) in your profile.

    i would suggest an "other" in the puzzles option,and everytime you put in a new puzzle,a list falls from the name,and has your custom puzzles,as there are alot of puzzles out there that you don't have listed :) such as void cube,floppy cube,mods,pyraminx crystal,

    I made a mistake, so I had a very great tim on my 5x5 and I didn't want to do 5 solves, so I put the reest to DNF, but I forgot one, So I have a PB of let me see 0.06 sec. Sure, it's not the reality..., So please delete this one..

    I actually have the opposite problem, I deleted a solve that was a PB and lost its scramble. Its not the time that upsets me, but the fact that the scramble is gone forever, is there some way I can get it back?
