Cubemania

Save The World - Solve The Puzzle

Cubemania V2.0

After 8h of moving data around and calculating records I proudly present you a brand new version of Cubemania. Have you ever missed averages of 12 or wanted to share your records with your friends on facebook? Then grab your cube and "start solving":/puzzles/3x3x3/timer!

There are probably still some rough edges here and there. If you come across any, let me know in the comments and I'll try to fix them.

Very impressed! I use Cubemania almost all of the time, and this is a great update!

I've just started using it and I'm loving it so far. Keep up the good work. :)

One thing I'd like changed are the pyraminx scrambles. They're waaay too long. Other than that, good job!

you should put back in a system of submitting the times when you choose to... I was messing around with the timer to get a feel for how it works and stopped and started it quickly 3 or 4 times with 2 second intervals or so... and now it says my best single solve is 0.56 and my best average of 5 is under 10 seconds, both of which are obviously completely false. now is cant undo it

First of all, thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it! :) AustinReed: Shorter pyraminx scrambles are definitely on my Todo list. There are more important things which need to be fixed at the moment, though. But I’ll get to it. jsd1: If you delete one of your solves, the records need to be recalculated. And since that’s not a trivial task (at least not for some people with > 10,000 solves), that’s done in the background. It should only take about 10 minutes until your records are back to normal. But I agree, this behavior isn’t obvious at all and I’ll add a short message to make it clearer.

I dont like the graph any more, think the old one was better.

I think the graph showing the averages of 5 was more accurate and useful. This new graph shows too many individual times, that doesn't provide that much insight! But amazing programming!

mirc93, dseok2, mazter2010: I agree, the graph doesn't really show your progress anymore. I'll try to "fix" that in the next two weeks. :)
